Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies & Local Storage?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website to store session state, preferences, and authentication tokens between page loads. The Viberest B2B Partner Portal (p.viberest.com), built on Next.js, uses both HTTP cookies (server-readable) and browser localStorage (client-only) to maintain your login session, interface settings, and security state. Without these mechanisms, the partner dashboard cannot function — there is no server-side session tracking beyond what cookies carry. We use no fingerprinting, no cross-site behavioral tracking, and no advertising cookies of any kind.

2. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the fundamental operation of the Viberest partner portal and cannot be disabled. They include: access_token — JWT bearer token authenticating your active session (expires: 30 days); refresh_token — used to silently renew access without re-login (expires: 90 days); cookie_consent — records your cookie preference selection (expires: 1 year); theme — stores your selected light/dark interface mode (localStorage, persistent); sidebar_state — remembers sidebar collapse/expand preference (localStorage, persistent). Blocking or deleting these cookies will cause dashboard login failure, logout on refresh, and loss of interface preferences. These cookies carry no personal identifiable information beyond an encrypted session reference.

3. Analytics & Performance Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous, aggregated telemetry on how partners navigate the portal — including page load times, feature interaction rates, and navigation flow patterns. This data contains no personal identifiers, billing data, IP addresses (anonymized at collection), or individual user profiles. Analytics cookies are set only after your explicit consent. You may opt out at any time using the cookie preference controls available in your browser or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Telemetry data is retained in aggregated form for 90 days.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Two third-party services integrated into the Viberest portal may set their own cookies, each governed by their respective privacy policies: Stripe Inc. — sets security and fraud-prevention cookies during the payment checkout flow to protect against unauthorized transactions (PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant). These cookies are active only on checkout pages. Tawk.to Inc. — sets a session cookie when the live support chat widget is active, enabling conversation continuity between pages. No partner billing or account data is shared with the Tawk.to session. You may block these third-party cookies via browser settings; doing so disables the respective service but does not affect core portal functionality.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You may review, block, or delete cookies at any time through your browser's built-in privacy controls: Chrome — Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data; Firefox — Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data; Safari — Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data. Note that clearing cookies from p.viberest.com will immediately terminate your active session and require re-login. Essential session cookies (access_token, refresh_token) cannot be selectively disabled without losing portal access — they are the security mechanism for your account. To withdraw analytics consent specifically, use the opt-out controls described in Section 3. For all cookie or data inquiries, contact info@llc-vaperi.de.
